Proceedings of the Royal Geographical Society of Australasia, South Australian Branch 30:83-108.〕 after Alfred Allen Simpson, an Australian philanthropist, geographer, and president of the South Australian branch of the Royal Geographical Society of Australasia.
From 1919, lived at Undelcarra in Burnside.〔(Undelcarra Road ), Street names, City of Burnside〕
